Early Morning Accident

This morning around 7:45am a School Van carrying some students was struck by a pick up truck and then hit again by a Suzuki SUV causing the van to flip over onto its side. The drivers of the SUV and pickup truck did not suffer any injuries, but some students were transported to the local hospital for very minor injuries. The accident caused Route 522 by Salem Road to be shutdown for about an hour while the vehicles and debris were removed.

    That is awful! It must have been terrifying for the people involved in this accident and especially for the parent's who had kids in the student van! I've never been in any type of motor accident but I can imagine how upsetting it would be.
